This drawing I created, measuring 7.5 x 9 inches, started out as a drawing of a tree. As it developed the original idea I had in mind did not come to fruition.
I found this piece to be very challenging, from a compositional point of view.
It it now completed, after spending a few days and many hours drawing it.
I see it as being harmonious.
And you? Do you see this piece as being harmonious?
Thanks for viewing this piece.... and if you wish to provide feedback, I look forward to your comments.

Nina, this piece is beautiful, colorful and I think most of all, has a wonderful flow to it.
I agree with what you are saying here, as an artist, I have the same sorts of things happen. Some paintings I start, they follow the concept that I originally had for them beautifully, start to finish. Other pieces change and grow as they go along and I have to say, end up being some of my favorite works. I always believe in listening to my work, I know it will tell me how to proceed if I just pay attention.
You have really done that with this piece...
Ruth

Looks harmonious to me, hon. BTW, I apologize for the delay in my blogging comments--having a hard time keeping up these days. Still hitting you up on Flickr, though! ;)
Thanks, Lana!
No problem, whatsoever. :)
I really like this one - you've done an excellent job of weaving together a pattern with color
Thanks so much for your feedback, Megan!
