Yes, it's true. Here is my newest drawing of a tree inspired by trees I have seen here in Brooklyn, N.Y.!
Of course, the trees near where I live do not look surreal at all.....but that is where artistic license comes in. ;)
I have no desire to create renditions of things exactly as they appear in real life.
