Here is my newest drawing of a crow or raven. The photograph that inspired this piece, was of a crow or raven; the photographer did not know. I was so happy that the photographer gave me permission to use her pic for reference!

This drawing that I created, using pens on paper, measures approximately 4.5 x 6 inches. I made enormous use of lines, to create this piece. The background is entirely cross-hatched.

Here is my newest rendition of a multicolored eye and eyebrow! The iris of the eye is purplish blue, for the most part. I had fun creating this piece. The colors were enjoyable to work with.

I do like this tree. It is a new tree that looks fragile as many new trees look.

Here is my second small drawing of an owl, that I call, "Owly 2." It is very loosely based on a photograph taken by Marc Russo. I am thankful to Marc for giving me permission to use his photograph for reference.

This is the first drawing of a tree that I created in this new year of 2010!
Yay!!!
This drawing is small, measuring approximately 7 x 8.5 inches. I created it using archival pens on paper.
This drawing began with the color black. After I worked on it about an hour, I added the color blue. In time I added many more colors. Gradually the color pink began to emerge as a predominating color!
