my new Surreal & Psychedelic Tree

Here is my newest drawing of a tree.....
I wish I knew why I love creating my trees, but I do not.

What I do love about trees is their sense of strength and feeling of timelessness. Of course some trees are young and fragile or old and dying.....but I am thinking of the majority of trees that I see on a daily basis.

This nude woman is relatively slender and looks beautiful from the rear, as we see her. Her long thick hair trails down her back below her waist in a ponytail. Her hair is her crowning glory. I created the background using many, many lines and different shades of blue.

Here is my newest female nude that I have entitled, "Geo Nude."
The reason for this title is the fact that this nude is comprised of lines that are much more angular than curving.

I almost always use curvilinear lines to create shapes, but sometimes enjoy a more geometric approach to drawing and painting.

I spent a great deal of time creating this piece that measures 7 x 7 inches. I created it through the use of line.......probably over one thousand lines.
