Here is my newest drawing of a blue eye, with a definite surrealistic edge! I am genuinely enjoying creating eyes, both human and animal!

There is a lot of detail in this piece. I seem to like creating detail with the use of lines. :)

This is my small drawing of an eye, that I completed yesterday. It is very carefully detailed. I spent a great deal of time working on it, too, and used a huge variety of colors. It is a surrealistic piece that I call, "Alien Eye."

Here is my drawing of a tree with red berries growing on it. It is a drawing that conveys a sense of harmony and tranquility; it speaks, "all is right with the world."

This small drawing measures approximately 7.5 x 5.5 inches. I created it using archival pens on paper.
I was delighted, a few days ago, to see a small tree with red berries on it, in my neighborhood! I really want to see this tree again, or more trees with berries growing on them. :)

Here is my newest drawing of a crow or raven. The photograph that inspired this piece, was of a crow or raven; the photographer did not know. I was so happy that the photographer gave me permission to use her pic for reference!

This drawing that I created, using pens on paper, measures approximately 4.5 x 6 inches. I made enormous use of lines, to create this piece. The background is entirely cross-hatched.

Here is my second small drawing of an owl, that I call, "Owly 2." It is very loosely based on a photograph taken by Marc Russo. I am thankful to Marc for giving me permission to use his photograph for reference.

This is the first drawing of a tree that I created in this new year of 2010!

This drawing is small, measuring approximately 7 x 8.5 inches. I created it using archival pens on paper.
This drawing began with the color black. After I worked on it about an hour, I added the color blue. In time I added many more colors. Gradually the color pink began to emerge as a predominating color!
