The viewer sees this seated woman from the rear, with her red hair flowing down her back. She is fortunate enough to have her derriere adorned with 2 pink flowers. Also, sitting above her head is a flowering plant!
She is surrounded by a lovely purple design that I created through the use of the cross-hatching technique.
Here is one of my drawings in my ongoing series of "Zen Nudes."
This drawing is vibrantly colorful. The red of her hair forms a sharp contrast with the bright blue background. The derriere of this female figure has "bounce" to it.
This is a fun piece that I hope brings a smile to your face.

Here is a drawing that I call "Tree Candy" because the colors in this piece are delightful and delicious!
I first started drawing small flowers and large clusters of flowers on this tree. And then the tree seemed to require large expanses of vibrant color and so this drawing became surreal.....

Here is my 3rd drawing of a flowering cherry tree. I will probably do a painting(s) of more flowering cherry trees, but I will probably want to create blossoms that have orange color...I will see how the spirit moves me....I don't know if cherry blossoms are ever orange in color, but it doesn't matter. :-)
This piece is 4 x 4 inches.
Thank you for viewing my artwork. :)

This drawing is called "Blossoms II." I created it directly after the first drawing I made that was inspired by my trip to the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens.
I would call this drawing a sister to my first drawing.
Thanks very much for viewing my artwork.
This is a drawing I created of a flowering cherry tree. This piece was inspired by a trip I made to the Botanic Gardens during the week, where I was overwhelmed by the beauty of cherry blossoms on trees!

Here is my cloudscape, that I believe I created in 2004. This is a serene landscape in which a large cloud takes center stage. There is a purple path that goes to the horizon line. Foliage grows on both sides of this path.
This painting may be purchased here.

Yes, there have been times, many times actually, when I have created realistic renditions of nudes!
Truth to tell, I have taught figure drawing in my past. ;)
Here is one of a small few of drawings of realistic nudes that I own. I am currently selling it.
As always, thank you for viewing my artwork! :)

Here is "Fire in the Core of the Tree," that I created very, very recently. I used pens on fine quality paper to create this piece, that is near and dear to me, emotionally speaking.
Feel free to interpret this piece as you like. :-)

This is one of my drawings that are part on my ongoing series of, "Zen Nudes." These nudes portray the rear view of a women who are in seared positions and usually possess a large derriere. They sit in meditative poses.
This particular nude woman is surrounded by lovely green color. I developed the background through the use of the cross-hatching technique.
This drawing is small, measuring approximately 4.75 x 4 inches.

This drawing is part of my ongoing series of Zen Nudes.
This particular drawing is of the rear view of a woman, in a meditative pose. She has a large derriere and a very beautiful dark-colored ponytail.
The background of this drawing is cross-hatched. The cross-hatching technique is time-intensive. The detail is this drawing is very fine, I must very immodestly, say.

This painting of a nude woman, that I created, is 5 x 5 inches. It is a painting of her derriere which I consider to be cute, fun and sexy! The background color is a warm red, which works well with the lovely warm-toned brown skin of the nude woman.

Here is my newest painting of a full frontal view of an African American Nude woman. This is a stylized rendition of a nude, which is the style in which I prefer to render nudes. I created this piece using gouache on paper. I like to use 300 lb. watercolor paper as a support for my paintings with watercolors and gouache.
Gouache is opaque watercolor.

Here is my drawing of the rear view of a nude woman who is about to walk someplace, while her hands are resting on her hips. Her hair is long and consists of many shades of green and blue color. She is surrounded by vibrant red and orange color. I created the background using the cross-hatching technique.
