The background was created by my using the cross-hatching technique.
I have always liked the use of line and this technique thoroughly incorporates line.

This garden is comprised of very unusual plants....
I call this piece, "The Derriere Garden"
I really think the title of this piece is very apropo.

The very warm red background juxtaposed against the warm brown skin tones creates a lusciousness of color, in my opinion.

This painting is 7" x 6" and I created it using gouache (opaque watercolor) on 300 lb. paper.
I truly love working on heavy paper such as this paper, which I believe is Saunders paper.

Here she is ..... "Rear View of Tara," that I completed today, using gouache on paper. I did love using the color magenta which I consider fabulous to work with considering the fact that it is exquisitely beautiful!

Here is my newest nude, in which the focus is on the woman's large derriere.
There are 2 Yin Yang symbols upon her derriere. Her hair is in luscious pink and purple color and the background is purple.
